When the gear shift lever is moved to the neu-

tral position or forward position, the outboard

motor can be tilted up.

Tilt support bar

Use the tilt support bar to keep the outboard

motor in the tilted up position or a shallow wa-

ter cruising position.

Cowling lock lever

The cowling lock lever is used to secure the

top cowling.

Carrying handle

The carrying handle is used to carry the out-
